  The number of new cases in Leprosy started declining since 2000 and is further on decline indicating that the pace of transmission has slowed down as a result of sustained control. This is calling for a change in the strategy-INTEGRATION OF LEPROSY INTO GENERAL HEALTH SERVICE.
